Ryan M. Harrison

Ryan Michael Harrison was admitted to the State Bar of California on January 5, 2018, and holds an active license under bar number 319712 ^[1]. He is an associate in the Sacramento office of Fisher Phillips LLP, where he defends employers in single-plaintiff matters and in wage and hour class action and PAGA cases in state and federal court ^[2]. His practice also includes strategic advice and counsel to corporate and government clients on human resources issues, along with Title IX, fraud, conflict of interest, and public corruption investigations ^[2]. Before joining Fisher Phillips, Harrison was a senior attorney at an employment law firm, managed more than 900 state employees as an administrative leader and HR manager for the California Senate Rules Committee, and earlier worked as a law enforcement officer specializing in dignitary protection, threat assessments, and criminal investigations ^[2]. He currently serves as a California Supreme Court appointee to the State Bar Board of Trustees ^[2]. Harrison has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Northern California for multiple years ^[3], and in 2025 the Sacramento Bee recognized him among its Top 20 Black Change Makers ^[2]. He earned his J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco in 2014, an M.S. from Sacramento State University in 2011, and a B.A. from UC Davis in 2007 ^[2].
