John Feder

John Marshall Feder is a California attorney and a partner at Rouda Feder Tietjen & McGuinn in San Francisco. He was admitted to the State Bar of California on November 29, 1978, and holds an active license (bar number 83391).^[1] His self-reported practice area with the State Bar is personal injury.^[1]

Feder earned his Juris Doctor from UC Hastings College of the Law in 1978 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley in 1975. He has practiced with Rouda Feder Tietjen & McGuinn since 1981, handling personal injury matters including motor vehicle, motorcycle, and commercial truck accidents and wrongful death cases.

Feder served as president of Consumer Attorneys of California for the 2013-2014 term and has served on the organization's executive board and board of governors. He is also a past president of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association and a member of the California Lawyers Association, including its Litigation and Public Law sections. He received the Consumer Attorneys of California Presidential Award of Merit in 2013 and has been selected for inclusion in the California Super Lawyers list. He has spoken at Consumer Attorneys of California programs on trial practice topics such as opening statements and contention interrogatories.
