Jeremy Pasternak

Jeremy David Pasternak is a California attorney who heads the Law Offices of Jeremy Pasternak in San Francisco. He was admitted to the State Bar of California on December 17, 1995, and holds an active license (bar number 181618).^[1] His self-reported practice areas with the State Bar are labor and employment, civil rights, and litigation.^[1]

Pasternak earned his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law, where he received a Public Interest Scholarship and served on the law review. Early in his career he worked on employment disputes at Rudy, Exelrod & Zieff and at the Legal Aid Society of San Francisco's Employment Law Center, and later practiced at O'Donnell & Mandel and the law offices of David H. Greenburg, where his results included a $1.4 million verdict in Lee v. ENPC. He was a senior employment-law associate at the Dolan Law Firm from 2001 to 2004 and practiced with Cooper & Mora before founding his own firm in 2005.

Since 1995, Pasternak's practice has focused on representing individuals and small enterprises in employment and civil rights matters. As class counsel in Carlson v. eHarmony.com, a case addressing the company's exclusion of gay and lesbian users, he was a finalist for the Consumer Attorneys of California's Consumer Attorney of the Year award.
