Thomas Slattery

Thomas William Slattery is an attorney practicing with Westview Legal in Palo Alto, California. His work spans family law and criminal defense, with additional experience in employment law and bankruptcy. In family law, he has been involved in thousands of cases ranging from high-asset divorces to custody modifications, with particular emphasis on restraining orders and domestic violence matters.

Slattery's career spans both prosecution and defense. He began as a Deputy City Attorney in San Diego and later founded Premier Criminal Defense, formerly the Slattery Law Firm, where he handled more than 100 trials. As Supervising Attorney at Pacific Law Center, he managed a team of 30 criminal defense attorneys and oversaw a total staff of 130 employees. He has also practiced in the appellate arena and in mediation.

Slattery earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from Barry University in Miami, Florida. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2000. He has obtained certification to practice in the European Union and 30 other countries through the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test from the Oxford Institute.
