David Weinberg

David C. Weinberg maintains the Law Office of David C. Weinberg in Palo Alto, California, where his full-spectrum family law practice is devoted to non-litigation alternatives: collaborative practice, mediation, and consultation. The focus of his work is assisting couples going through separation and divorce in resolving their issues without adversarial court proceedings. His practice areas include alternative dispute resolution, divorce mediation, prenuptial and marital agreements, custody, support, and property division.

Weinberg brings more than 35 years of family law practice, 30 years of family mediation experience, and 15 years of collaborative law practice to this work. He is certified as a specialist in family law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, and in 2004 he received the Eureka Award from Collaborative Practice California.

Weinberg earned his B.A. from the University of Minnesota in 1962 and his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1965. He was admitted to practice in Minnesota in 1965 and to the State Bar of California in 1969. Both licenses are active and in good standing.
