Shay A. Gilmore

Shay A. Gilmore was admitted to the California Bar in 2001 and remains an active licensee ^[1]. He operates the Law Office of Shay Aaron Gilmore in San Francisco, counseling cannabis and hemp operators, investors, and entrepreneurs throughout California ^[2]. His practice spans corporate law and entity formation, commercial contracts, real estate and land use, regulatory compliance and licensing, intellectual property, venture capital counsel, employment and labor law, and administrative law ^[2]. Gilmore earned his Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law in 2001 and his bachelor's degree from Rice University in 1998 ^[2]. He has served on the board of directors of California NORML and helped co-found a cannabis law section of a bar association ^[2]. He was named one of the Top 20 Cannabis Lawyers in California by The Los Angeles / San Francisco Daily Journal in 2022 ^[3].
