Michael Stepanian

Michael Stepanian is a criminal defense attorney based in San Francisco, California. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1966 and holds bar number 37712.^[1] He earned his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law. Stepanian practices criminal defense, including matters involving marijuana and other drug charges, and has maintained a solo practice in San Francisco for decades.^[2] His practice covers state and federal criminal matters, and he has been active in cases concerning drug policy and the rights of the accused throughout his career. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and a lifetime member of the legal committee of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws.
