Michael David Fabiano

Michael David Fabiano was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1993 and holds an active license, Bar Number 167058 ^[1]. He earned his J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law in 1993, following an M.S. from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.A. from Rice University, and he worked as a scientist at Henkel Research Corporation before entering law. Fabiano founded Fabiano Law Firm, P.C. in 2011; the Carlsbad firm focuses on patent litigation and prosecution, business litigation, intellectual property licensing and contracts, and trademark and trade secret protection and litigation. His practice includes proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board as well as intellectual property counseling and due diligence, and San Diego Metro magazine has named him one of "San Diego's Top Attorneys." Earlier in his career, Fabiano served as a law clerk to U.S. District Judge Linda McLaughlin and practiced with Jones Day, Lyon & Lyon LLP, and Skadden Arps before becoming a partner at Mazzarella Caldarelli LLP. He is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the Ninth Circuit, and all four U.S. District Courts in California.
