Kevin Herbert Brogan

Kevin Herbert Brogan was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1979 and holds an active license (bar #89427); his State Bar record lists him as a certified specialist in Legal Malpractice Law ^[1]. A partner at Hill Farrer & Burrill LLP in downtown Los Angeles, he represents property and business owners in eminent domain and inverse condemnation cases, often involving valuation issues, with verdicts and settlements in condemnation matters totaling over $250 million in excess of the condemning agencies' appraisals ^[2]. He wrote and updates the California chapter of the American Bar Association's book The Law of Eminent Domain, and he defends law firms, real estate brokers, architects, and engineers in malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty cases ^[2]. Brogan is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America ^[2]. He received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1979 and a B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley in 1976, and he clerked for Chief Judge Oliver Seth of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit ^[2].
