Karren Kenney

Karren Melinda Kenney was admitted to the State Bar of California on December 9, 1994, and holds an active license (Bar No. 174872) ^[1]. Her practice centers on criminal defense, with a particular focus on federal matters such as fraud investigations, conspiracy charges, and white-collar cases.

Kenney is the founding attorney of Kenney Legal Defense, a criminal defense firm based in Costa Mesa that handles federal cases nationwide and state-court matters in Southern California ^[2]. She has practiced in Southern California for more than 25 years and has represented clients through all stages of litigation in county courts across the region as well as in federal court ^[2]. She is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California.

Kenney studied at California State University, Fullerton, and earned her J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego. She also hosts the Legal Vixen podcast, produced by Kenney Legal Defense, which covers federal cases and other legal topics ^[2].
