Joseph Phillips Wilson

Joseph Phillips Wilson was admitted to the State Bar of California on December 2, 2003, and holds an active license, bar number 228180 ^[1]. He earned his law degree at the University of Arizona College of Law ^[1]. His office is located at 895 Dove St, Suite 300, in Newport Beach ^[1].

Wilson is the founder of Wilson Tax Law Group, APLC, which represents clients in federal and state tax audits, collection matters, offshore account and FBAR disclosures, and criminal tax cases ^[2]. He previously served as an IRS trial attorney, a federal tax prosecutor, and an attorney with the California Franchise Tax Board ^[2].

Wilson is a past chair of the State Bar of California Tax Procedure and Litigation Committee and of the Orange County Bar Association Tax Section ^[2]. He has received the Wiley W. Manuel Pro Bono Services Award from the State Bar of California ^[2] and is a member of the California Lawyers Association Taxation Section ^[1].
