Jenna Rangel

Jenna Marie Crisci Rangel was admitted to the State Bar of California on December 3, 2010, and holds an active license (Bar No. 272735) ^[1]. She is a partner at Haeggquist & Eck, LLP, a San Diego firm that represents employees, where she handles claims involving wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations ^[2].

Rangel became a partner at Haeggquist & Eck in 2021. Before joining the firm, she worked as an associate attorney at Barker Olmsted & Barnier, APLC from 2011 to 2014 and practiced at a small full-service firm, where she focused on employment litigation and counseled employers on compliance issues. Her past matters include a 2018 case against The Salk Institute, handled with the firm's managing partner, that resolved in a confidential settlement, and litigation on behalf of massage therapists alleging that a San Diego hotel failed to protect female employees from sexual harassment by spa clients.

A San Diego native, Rangel earned her J.D. from California Western School of Law in 2010, where her pro bono work earned her a place in the school's Pro Bono Honor Society ^[1]. During law school, she worked with the California Women's Law Center in Los Angeles on matters involving gender discrimination in education and Title IX, and completed an internship in the Juvenile Dependency Division. She holds a B.S. in business from California State University, Chico.

Rangel is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California, Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, the California Employment Lawyers Association, the Lawyers Club of San Diego, and the National Employment Lawyers Association.
