Gerald Lawrence Sauer

Gerald Lawrence Sauer was admitted to the State Bar of California on June 13, 1984, and holds an active license under bar number 113564. He earned his law degree at UC Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco and is a member of the California Lawyers Association's Labor & Employment and Litigation sections.^[1]

Sauer founded Sauer & Wagner LLP in 1997 and serves as the firm's founding partner. The Los Angeles firm describes itself as a civil trial practice boutique that represents both plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state courts as well as in administrative proceedings, private mediations, and arbitration tribunals.^[2]

According to the firm's site, Sauer has over 40 years of experience litigating civil actions, including jury and bench trials in federal and state forums, private arbitrations, and mediations, and he now also provides services as a mediator in addition to his civil litigation practice.^[2] His trial and appellate work has included briefing and argument in federal and state courts and participation in oral argument before the California Supreme Court.
