Anthony C. Gonsalves

Anthony Crippen Gonsalves was admitted to the State Bar of California on June 3, 2019, and holds an active license (bar number 325710) ^[1]. He is the owner of AG Law, a Modesto firm that also serves Stockton and surrounding Central Valley counties. The practice covers personal injury and wrongful death claims, criminal, DUI, and juvenile defense, and landlord-tenant matters ^[2].

Gonsalves earned an Associate of Arts in Social Studies from Modesto Junior College and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, before graduating from Humphreys University's Drivon School of Law in 2017 ^[2]. Earlier in his career he served as a congressional page for Congressman Tony Coelho, worked as a credentialed substitute teacher, and later gained legal experience as a legal assistant and personal injury case manager ^[2].

Before practicing law, Gonsalves co-founded FUNWORKS! Family Fun Company in 1989, a family amusement park serving the Central Valley, where he held roles as shareholder, director, vice-president, and general manager until 2013 ^[2].

A fifth-generation Modesto resident, Gonsalves is a member of the California Lawyers Association and its Criminal Law Section, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Wray Ladine Inns of Court. His community involvement includes serving as past president of the Associated Students of Modesto Junior College and of Congregation Beth Shalom of Modesto ^[2].
