Amy Lenhert

Amy Carole Lenhert was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2003 and holds an active license, bar number 227717. She is a Certified Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law, certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.^[1]

Lenhert is the managing attorney at the Law Office of Sabrina Damast, Inc., an immigration firm located at 510 W 6th Street in downtown Los Angeles. She has practiced immigration law exclusively since becoming an attorney in 2003. Her practice includes removal defense, such as cancellation of removal for lawful permanent residents and nonresidents, waivers for fraud and criminal convictions, and applications for asylum, as well as administrative appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals and the USCIS Administrative Appeals Office.^[2]

She also handles family-based visa petitions, unlawful presence waivers, applications for naturalization, and complex citizenship claims, and has represented healthcare companies in immigrant visa petitions for registered nurses under the Schedule A category. She has litigated cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts of California, Nebraska, and Washington, D.C.^[2]

Lenhert received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School Los Angeles in 2003 and her B.A. from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1999. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, serves on the Executive Committee of the Immigration Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and sits on the advisory committee for the Los Angeles office of Kids in Need of Defense.^[2] She is listed by Super Lawyers for immigration law.^[3]
