Todd Emanuel

Todd Emanuel is the managing partner of Emanuel Law Group, a personal injury firm based in San Mateo, California, with additional offices in San Francisco and San Jose. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1993.^[1][2]

Emanuel earned his law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law. His firm represents individuals in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, sexual assault, and motor vehicle and truck accident cases throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, and offers services in English and Spanish.^[2]

Emanuel Law Group initiated California Assembly Bill 1455 (AB 1455), which expanded the statute of limitations for victims of sexual assault by police officers. The firm subsequently obtained a $25 million settlement from the City of San Mateo on behalf of three women sexually assaulted by a uniformed San Mateo police officer who would have been ineligible to sue without the new law. The firm's results also include an $8 million jury award in a car accident case against a taxi company.^[2]

Emanuel is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California. The firm represents plaintiffs through pre-litigation negotiation, litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and trial.^[2]
