Steven Kazan is a personal injury attorney based in Oakland, California, and the founding, managing, and senior partner of Kazan, McClain, Satterley & Greenwood. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1970 and holds bar number 46855.[1] He received an A.B. from Brandeis University in 1963 and his law degree from Harvard Law School. Kazan founded the firm in 1974 and has concentrated his plaintiffs' personal injury practice on representing asbestos disease victims nationwide.[2] Earlier in his career he served as an Assistant United States Attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice and as Assistant to the General Counsel at the Interstate Commerce Commission.
