Gerald Singleton

Gerald Singleton is a personal injury attorney and the managing partner of Singleton Schreiber, LLP in San Diego, California. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2000 and holds an active license under bar number 208783 ^[1]. He earned his law degree at the UC Berkeley School of Law ^[1], after graduating from Dartmouth College, where he won the departmental prize in Government for his thesis.

Singleton began his legal career as a public defender with Federal Defenders of San Diego, where he tried complex criminal cases, and left in 2003 to start his own firm concentrating on fire litigation and serious personal injury cases. In 2010, California Reporter recognized an $8.2 million judgment he obtained for a construction worker catastrophically injured by electrical burns from power lines as one of the largest verdicts of 2009. He has tried more than 20 cases and settled hundreds more, including 75 cases resolved for $1 million or more.
