David Kaloyanides

David Jean Kaloyanides was admitted to the State Bar of California on December 2, 1992, and holds an active license (Bar No. 160368) ^[1]. He is a Certified Specialist in Criminal Law, certified by the State Bar of California's Board of Legal Specialization, and practices through his own firm, David J.P. Kaloyanides, A Professional Law Corporation, in Long Beach ^[2].

Kaloyanides concentrates on federal criminal defense, including grand jury investigations, RICO violations, federal drug trafficking, violent crimes, and white collar matters such as bank and wire fraud, criminal tax evasion, and criminal copyright infringement, along with state criminal cases ^[2]. According to the firm, he has served as lead counsel on more than 400 federal cases and has defended clients throughout Los Angeles County over a career of more than 30 years ^[2]. He also serves as the Criminal Justice Act Indigent Defense Panel National Representative to the Administrative Office of the United States Courts for the Central District of California.

Kaloyanides earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 1992 ^[1] and his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1986. He is a member of the California Lawyers Association and its Criminal Law Section, a lifetime member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and a member of California Attorneys for Criminal Justice.
