From 2004 to 2019 Kerosky served as Honorary Consul for the Republic of Poland in San Francisco, with his office fulfilling the role of the Polish Consulate for the Bay Area, making him one of the longest-serving members of the Consular Corps of San Francisco. From 2013 to 2021 he served on the Sonoma County Human Rights Commission, appointed by the County Board of Supervisors to represent the 5th District, and through that work helped found My American Dreams, a nonprofit devoted to community education and advocacy for immigrants. He speaks fluent Spanish and Polish and conversational Russian and French [2].
