Brian Tate Shippen-Murray

Brian Tate Shippen-Murray has been licensed to practice law in California since 2012. ^[1] He practices with My Lemon Firm, P.C. in Santa Monica, a firm that represents California consumers who purchased or leased defective vehicles under the state's Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, commonly known as the Lemon Law. ^[1][2]

Shippen-Murray graduated cum laude from Elon University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law and a Master's degree in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine's Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. While in law school, he served as Managing Editor of the Pepperdine Dispute Resolution Law Journal, externed for the Honorable Barry Russell of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, and interned at the United States Department of Justice. ^[1]

Before joining My Lemon Firm, Shippen-Murray spent roughly ten years as managing attorney at California Consumer Attorneys, P.C., formerly known as the Law Offices of Michael Rosenstein, where his practice centered on litigating Lemon Law claims against vehicle manufacturers and distributors in both state and federal courts. ^[1] My Lemon Firm's practice covers vehicle buyback and replacement claims, and its published case results describe settlements involving vehicles including a Tesla Model Y, a Chevrolet Silverado, a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and a Ford F-Series truck. ^[2]
