Glenn Luinenburg

Glenn Luinenburg is a partner in the Silicon Valley office of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, where he practices in the firm's Corporate group with a focus on emerging companies and venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and capital markets. According to the firm, he counsels technology and growth companies across the corporate life cycle, from seed-stage startups and emerging public companies to mature public enterprises, and has led transactions including IPOs, public and private M&A, venture financings and going-private transactions.

His transactional work spans industries including artificial intelligence and machine learning, robotics, autonomous electric vehicles, aviation and eVTOL, digital health, fintech, semiconductors and software. The firm states that his representations have included venture capital financings for companies such as Clutch, Introhive and 1366 Technologies, M&A matters including Lion Semiconductor's sale to Cirrus Logic, and securities offerings including IPO work for Tesla Motors and Pacific Biosciences. Before joining Pillsbury, he was a partner in the Palo Alto offices of two international law firms and an attorney at an international firm based in Canada.

Luinenburg earned his J.D. cum laude from the University of Western Ontario in 1996, an M.B.A. cum laude from the Ivey School of Business in 1998 and an H.B.A. from Ivey in 1991. He is a regular faculty member for the Practising Law Institute and a guest lecturer at Santa Clara Law School. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2001.
